Miss Joyce Laffe has gone to Eau Claire to be employed in the office of Dr. J.W. Lowe.

Word has been received of the birth of a son recently, to Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bigelow of Lake City, Minn.

Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Reinick and baby daughter of New Richmond, have rented the apartment over the Jack Sprat store and moved into it the fore part of the week.  Mr. Reinick is employed as salesman for an advertising company of Baltimore, and has moved here to be centrally located in his territory.

Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Flood, Mrs. C. Olson and Mrs. Angus Flood attended the funeral of Bonnie Olson at the Methodist Church in Merrillan Tuesday afternoon.  Bennie, the eight-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Olson of Owen, passed away in a Stanley hospital Friday as the result of a ruptured appendix.  The mother is a niece of Mrs. W.C. Flood and the father is a cousin of Clarence Olson.
