FARMERS TO MEET MARCH 2ND
The Clark County Farmers Union quarterly convention will be held in Greenwood March 2, 1931. This meeting will be different from others held as no outside speakers have been engaged. Locals will bring their problems for discussion.
Mr. Landry, our county agent, has some films sent from the Farmers Union concerning its activities which will be shown beginning at 9:30 a.m. Regular business meeting beings at 10:00 a.m. Mrs. Hatton has promised to again have dinner for us and details will be announced at the meeting.
We also have our National president of the Farmers Union Mr. John A. Simpson, coming to speak to us. He cannot be here for the convention so arrangements have been made to hear him on March 5th at Greenwood in the afternoon beginning at 1 o’clock. All members should hear Mr. Simpson’s message. He may have something interesting about the Federal Farm Board to tell us.
Remember March 2nd convention and March 5th, Mr. Simpson speaks.
Agnes Keller, County Sect.
