School Notes (28 January 1910)
Frances Smith who has been visiting friends and relatives at Packwaukee returned to school Tuesday.
The fifth grade is making a collection of cloth made from cotton.
A part of last week was devoted to examinations. The following finals were given: eight grade reading, ninth grade grammar and tenth grade physiology. In place of which agriculture, drawing and botany are studied.
Lloyd Kimball returned to school after two weeks illness.
There was a contest between the fifth and sixth grade in long division last Friday. The sixth grade won.
The basketball game played between Neillsville Sophomores and the Granton High School team was won by Neillsville.
The pupils who were not absent the first half year were: Daphne Beeckler, Clifton Paulson, Lydia Krause, Beulah Lee, Ell Lee, Freda Storm, Henry Neinas, Ferne Williams, Rex Beeckler and Amelia Krause.
