Shortville (4 February 1910)
A baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kauth, Tuesday, January 25th.
George Cramer made a business trip to Neillsville last Saturday.
Ike Higgins and wife of Viola, Wis., are moving onto the Ernest Schroeder farm which they have purchased recently.
Ed Schroeder purchased two cows of C. F. Wallace.
Roscoe Galbreath was on the sick list last week.
Mrs. James Finnegan and Miss Lena Riedel of Granton spent Friday with Mrs. Edward Schroeder.
The Ladies Aid of East Washburn met with Mrs. George Cramer Thursday.
Mrs. John Kauth who has been sick for some time, is now on the gain.
Peter Cramer spent Sunday at Dave Taylor’s.
Wm. Wallace of Stevens Point called on friends here last week.
A. O. Rhea was visiting schools in this vicinity schools in this vicinity Friday.
