Lauersdorf, Sandra R. (6 FEB 1936 - 20 JUL 2011)
Sandra R.
Lauersdorf, 75, of Curtiss passed away on July 20, 2011, in the
Emergency Room at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in
Marshfield.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m.
on Saturday, July 23 at Saint Peter Lutheran Church in Dorchester.
Reverend Jerome Freimuth will officiate. Burial will be in Saint
Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Lebanon, Dodge County, on Monday, July
25.
Visitation will be on Saturday at
the church, from 9 a.m. until time of services.
Sandra was born Feb. 6, 1936, in
Waupun, to George and Dorothy (Huck) Thomas. She received her
education at Oconomowoc schools and attended Oconomowoc High
School. The former Sandra Thomas was united in marriage to Melvin
Lauersdorf on Feb. 12, 1955, at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church in
Lebanon. Sandra worked as a switchboard operator at Neosho
Telephone Company before moving to Curtiss in 1994 where she worked
at McDonalds and Hardees in Abbotsford.
Sandra is lovingly survived by her
husband, Melvin; and children, Randy Lauersdorf of Neosho, Cindy
(Dave) Finnel of Watertown and Tammy (Scott) Moen of Oconomowoc;
grandchildren, Jared Schaefer, William Moen and Lacey Owen;
brother, Charles Thomas; and sister, Judy Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; and one daughter, Debra Lauersdorf.
Sandra was a member of the Curtiss
Lions Club and Saint Peter Ladies Circle. She loved spending time
with her family, playing cards and caring for their dog
Cookie.
