Kopp, Florence (16 April 1935 - 4 July 2011)

 

Florence L. Kopp, 93, of Cambridge died Monday, July 4, 2011, surrounded by her family.

 

She was born April 16, 1918, in Neillsville, to Robert and Velmer (Linton) Volz.

 

She married William Kopp Nov. 6, 1935, who preceded her in death Sept. 26, 1999.

 

Florence was a long time member of Willerup United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and playing cards.

 

Surviving are two daughters, Edna Kufahl and Betty (Clifford) Johnson; grandchildren, Scott (Jackie), Douglas (Peggy), Brian (Lorie) Johnson, James (Debra) Kufahl, Jean Selck and Jana (Joe) Evans; 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Gerald Volz, Wilbur (Kathleen) Volz and Willis (Jean) Volz; sister, Iva Lou (Rodger) Northup; two sisters-in-law, Jan Volz and Hattie Schwarze; and many nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Marcella Adams and Delores Rosenthal; four brothers, George, Harry, Lester and Raymond Volz; and son-in-law, William Kufahl, Jr.

 

Funeral services were held Thursday, July 7, at 11 a.m. at the Willerup United Methodist Church in Cambridge, with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial followed in the Kroghville Cemetery in the Town of Lake Mills.

 

Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to Willerup United Methodist Church or to Rainbow Hospice Care.
