Mahlon Lund, Jr., returned from Superior the last of the week, where he attended college the past year.
J.N. Cooper, fireman on a freighter on the Great Lakes, is spending a couple of weeks of vacation at home. He expects to change occupation on his return to the Lakes.
Sam Rush of Merrillan completed a new well and installing the casing on the lots where A.L. Sparkes is about to erect a new house. It is 100 feet deep and has a great reservoir of water.
John Bryner is having a week’s vacation from his work on the railroad, and he and Mrs. Bryner, and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Putman expect to put in a few days for the weekend in an outing and fishing at Spooner.
