A new book, "The Sierra Nevada; the Range of Light," has been given to the library by Dr. and Mrs. S.G. Schwarz, in memory of Willard E. Waters.

H.B. Farnsworth had a visit last week from his brother Ed from Minneapolis, and two of his old schoolmates, also from Minneapolis, Archie Denny and Jack Fitchette.

Mrs. W.C. Flood and Miss Alice Folwer left Saturday to spend a week at the Red Rock mission at Medicine Lake, Minn.  Miss Fowler will also visit in Minneapolis before returning.

A new machine shed and garage 20 x 40 feet, is being erected on Will Theiler’s farm.  A new cement block milk house, all automatic electrically operated, has been erected and in operation on the Erickson farm, operated by Mike Young and Leo Printz.

Mrs. Martin and son Wallace and her mother, Mrs. Emma Stuve, went to Owen Sunday to spend the day at the Howell Stuve home.  And also bring Mrs. Martin’s daughter, Mrs. Roy Anderson, back for a few days stay, before returning to her home in Madison.
