The Heathville news publisher knows more about Nate Drake’s business than Nate does.
Earl Drake and Addie Harriman took a load of friends to the dance last Saturday night.
Miss Julia Drake of Burley left for Kangley, Wash., where she will assist Mrs. A. Drake in her household duties.
Miss Helen Baer and her sister Jennie made a flying trip to Tacoma one day this week.
Mrs. Net Johnson of Seattle was welcomed by old friends at Burley this week.
Burley is on the boom. A new railroad and a saw mill are being built.
A few flakes of snow fell today.
A basket social and entertainment will be given in the Burley school house Saturday eve. Keep your eyes open Lyman.
Fred Morgan is on the sick list.
This is the only country to raise ducks and we notice you can raise a few Drakes too.
Addie Harriman is running donkey for Savage Bros.
If you catch Hyram out on the streets after 9 o’clock we’ll have to enter complaint.
Mrs. Walter Drake is under the doctor’s care. Walter is talking of moving back to Wisconsin for his wife’s health.
