Kaczor - Holt Nuptials in Neillsville
Wedding vows were exchanged in a double ring ceremony by Miss Audrey Holt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Holt of Greenwood and Frank William Kaczor, son of Mrs. Louise Kaczor of Neillsville, February 22nd at 2 o’clock in the Congregational Church at Neillsville with Rev. Frank Harcey performing the ceremony.
For her wedding the bride chose a floor length gown; the long sleeves and bodice were of lace with a scalloped neckline. The skirt was of nylon lace and net. Completing her ensemble was a finger tip veil and she carried a garland of red roses and hyacinths.
Maid of honor Miss Pat Hetzel of Granton, niece of the bride, chose an orchid formal and carried an airy crescent style bouquet of pink carnations with nylon net trim.
The bridesmaids Miss Carlotta Tichy of Greenwood, a friend of the bride, was attired in a maize formal and Miss Beverly Spitzock of Chicago, Illinois, a niece of the groom choose a mint green formal and both carried bouquets similar to the maid of honor’s.
Marvin Spitzock, Chicago, Illinois, nephew of the groom, filled the best man’s role, and the bride’s brother Verlan Holt of Beloit, Wisconsin, and Otto Hainz, Jr., a friend from Neillsville served as groomsmen. Completing the wedding party were Marylynn Wilson, niece of the bride, of Sussex, Wisconsin, as flower girl, and Johnny Schultz, nephew of the groom, of Neillsville, as ring bearer.
Acting as ushers were a brother and cousin of the bride, Donald Holt and Dick Holt, both of Greenwood. Miss Joyce and Marlene Pieper sang "I Love You Truly" and "The Lord’s Prayer" with Mrs. Jess Scott as organist.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Legion Hall and supper was served to 200 guests. The groom attended the Neillsville High School and the bride attended the Loyal High School.
After returning from their honeymoon spent at Chicago, Milwaukee and Sussex they will be at home on his mother’s farm.
The bride and groom’s mothers were attired in navy blue dresses with white trim. The groom and his attendants and the ring bearer wore white tuxedos and dark trousers.
Attending from out of town were Mr. & Mrs. Merton Holt and family and Mrs. Ethel Holt, Granton, Raymond McKennan, Grace Maucel and Deloris Blenker, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Frantz, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Seidleman, Chippewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wilson and family of Sussex; Mrs. Clara Wilson, Josephine and Paty Langreck, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. William Spitzock, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Anton Kaczor, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Kaczor, Milwaukee; Mrs. Eles Breuning, Kewaunee; and Mr. and Mrs. Verlan Holt, Beloit.
