Leiser, Nellie A. (26 MAY 1872 - 7 JUL 1948)

Nellie Agnes Leiser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ringrose, was born in the town of Garden Valley (Jackson Co., Wis.), on May 26, 1872.  She was married to Edward M. Leiser of Baraboo, April 10, 1903, and has lived in Baraboo ever since.

She was a faithful and devoted member of the First Congregational Church for the past thirty years, and her active membership in the church will be greatly missed.

Her death came rather unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, July 7, 1948, as the result of a heart attack.  She is survived by her husband, Edward Leiser, one sister, Evelyn Ringrose of Alma Center; and three brothers, Joseph of Portland, Oregon, Frank of Alma Center, and Will of Humbird.  Other relatives are Mrs. C.W. Riggs of Alma Center, a niece; and Harvey Ringrose of Portland, Oregon, a nephew; and Mrs. Chas. Nicolai, a foster daughter.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 10 at 2:00 o’clock from the McGann Funeral Home, with the Rev. Herbert Bauck officiating.  Burial was in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
