Bemis, Mr. & Mrs. Walt (58th - 24 JUL 1948)
July 24th, 1948, Mr. and Mrs. Walt Bemis observed their fifty-eighth wedding anniversary. The event was celebrated by a family gathering and picnic at the home of their son, Earl Bemis, and family from Neillsville, and all members of their family, excepting one daughter, were present. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wood came from Oshkosh, and presented Mrs. Bemis with a beautiful golden corsage and a bouquet of white gladiolas. Mrs. Percy Bemis made the wedding anniversary cake.
