Mr. and Mrs. Henry Laffe returned last Saturday evening from a week vacation trip.  Art Laffe assisted in the store during their absence.

Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Hein spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Don Schroeder at Rockland.  Mrs. Schroeder, formerly Beverly Welda, was a teacher in our school six or seven years ago.

Mrs. E.T. hale returned last Sunday afternoon from spending the summer months at the cottage near Springbrook.  Ye Ed went up Friday night to help close the place for the winter.

Mrs. Helena Bey and her sister of Chaseburg, were guests at the Lien home Monday.  Last Thursday Mr. and Mrs. V.J. Held and Allen, and Mr. and Mrs. Al Williams of La Crosse, were guests there.
