Chili (11 March 1910)
The cheese meeting of the Chili Creamery Co. was held Wednesday afternoon.
Tom Gibson bought the lot and old store building owned by H. Henning opposite Frank Waterman’s place and adjoining Tom’s property. Tom will remove his barber shop into the store building after he has it fixed up.
Dan Brooks scaled the logs for the Roddis Veneer and Lumber Co. this week Tuesday instead of Sunday as was his custom heretofore.
H. Portz sawed wood for Tom Gibson, Frank Waterman and Chas. Farrell Wednesday of this week.
There was a party at August Prust’s Monday night which gave an enjoyable time to a nice crowd till early next morning.
The Kloch Comedy Co. is holding forth this week in the opera house and drawing nice crowds.
The Chili Star Band will give a dance Easter Monday. The band will play for the dance, so come hear good music and a good time.
