LOCAL MAN INJURED IN HIGHWAY ACCIDENT
Thursday morning, about 8 o’clock, just as Gust. Yerkee was driving on to Highway 13 at the A. L. Adams corner, a car coming from Butternut containing four people collided with the Yerkee car almost head on, badly demolishing both cars.
Mr. Yerkee was very seriously cut and bruised about the head and the two ladies in the Butternut car were quite badly bruised, but so far as we are able to learn, not seriously injured.
All were treated by the local physician Dr. R. R. Jandrain.
Mr. Yerkee was taken to this home and the other parties continued on to their destination at Chicago on the train.
