Dunow, Minnie (December 15, 1847 - September 3, 1931)
Mrs. Minnie Dunow was born in Pommering, Germany, December 15, 1847, and came with her mother and sister to America in the year 1879, her father having passed away when she was a child.
The family settled in Milwaukee and March 21, 1880, she was married to August Dunow and immediately they move to their homestead north of Curtiss, which is now known as the Tessmer farm.
Here they resided until two years ago when they moved to Curtiss, where they have since lived.
To this union, five children were born, three daughters and two sons, two of the daughters preceded Mrs. Dunow in death.
Mrs. Dunow passed away at her home her Thursday September 3rd, after a short illness. Although she had been confined to her chair for the past five years due to a fall injuring her hip.
She leaves to mourn, her husband, a daughter, Mrs. W. Fahrenbach, two sons, Charles of Phelps, Wis., and Otto of Curtiss, 22 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Those from out of town attending the funeral services were Mr. Chas. Shaver, Mrs. Harry and Mrs. John Smith of St. Paul, Mrs. John Williams of Chicago, Mrs. Chester Fahrenbach, Mrs. Chas Fahrenbach of Medford, Mrs. Beil and Mrs. and Mrs. Arnold Sill of Colby.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 o’clock at the German Lutheran church, Rev. M. C. Goetsch officiating. Burial was made in Pine Hill cemetery.

We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to our relatives and friends for the sympathy and kindness shown us during our bereavement in the death of our dear wife and mother. We especially thank Rev. Goetsch for his comforting words, the pallbearers, those who sent floral offerings and those who furnished cars.
