Jackson, Mary (1849? - August 8, 1931)
After a lingering illness, Mrs. Mary Jackson, mother of Walter Jackson of Abbotsford, died at her home at Neenah, Saturday evening, August 8th.
Funeral services were conducted at one o’clock at the residence and two o’clock at the First Presbyterian church Tuesday and interment was made at the Oak cemetery.
Mrs. Jackson is a native of Denmark and was 82 years of age. She spent fifty-eight years at Neenah.
Surviving are three daughters; Mrs. Chas. Herrick and Mrs. Albert Sign of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Philip Grode of Neenah; seven sons, Henry, Arthur and John of Neenah, William of New York, George of Appleton, Harry of Milwaukee and Walter of Abbotsford; twenty-three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
All of the children with the exception of William attended the funeral. The six sons and Otto Jackson acted as pallbearers. Seven of the grandchildren carried the floral offerings.

In this book , which contains my ancestors on my mother's side, Maren Kirstine Nielsen is one of these ancestors and Louis Jackson (Lars Jacobsen marries into the family. Lars Jacobsen is born 15th November 1846 (not 1836) and Maren Kirstine Nielsen b. 23rd May 1853 in Haslev. irene.chr@mail.telenor.dk
