Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Neeb, Joyce and Neil went to New Lisbon Sunday to help Oscar’s step father Wm Millard celebrate his 86th birthday which occurred a few days earlier. They were met there by Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fritz, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Seidelman and family and Marjorie Radke, all from Milwaukee and Miss Anna Neeb of St. Charles, Minnesota and all had a picnic dinner together. Miss Neeb returned here with her brother, Oscar for a week’s visit.
Mrs. H. C. Schwan of Glendale, California and Mrs. Wm. Coty of Waukegan, Illinois, spent several days last week with Mrs. Otto Schwan and other relatives.
Miss Doris Stafford was a Friday night guest of Miss Lucille Henninger.
Mr. and Mrs. Leon Hoeser, Barbara, Mary Ellen and Jimmy were at the baptismal dinner, at Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hoesers, Sunday, honoring their new daughter, Theresa Rose.
Miss Donna Mae Smith, daughter of Mrs. Jesse Smith of Beaver Dam and the late Lee Smith was married Saturday at 4 p.m. at a Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam to Donald Jacobs. Relatives attending from this vicinity were Mrs. L. G. Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. James Roder and son, Darrel, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Lacey Philpott. Donna is the granddaughter of Fannie Smith.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bender spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Dave Bender at Granton.
Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Pagelow and family spent from Friday until Monday with relatives at Hika and Sheboygan.
Mrs. L. G. Anderson and daughters spent Sunday evening with Mrs. Oswald Henninger.
Mrs. Clair Lyon, sister of Mrs. Henninger entered Sacred Heart Hospital at Eau Claire last Wednesday and had an operation for cataracts on both eyes this week Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Boulanger of Evansville are guests this week of her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Loos.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Wolf and family of Fredonia visited with Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Capelle Saturday night and Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Neeb helped check 4-11 record books at Greenwood Wednesday evening for the county record.
Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Loos entertained at dinner and supper Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Quinn and daughter, Charlene of Westfield, Mr. and Mrs. Al Dusold and Kathryn Marder of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Young and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kruger and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Kruger an Mrs. J. J. Kromer.
