Foemmel’s Corners (18 March 1910)

 

Mrs. Hale Davis visited Mrs. Rella Osgood last week Friday.

 

Ray Canfield finished work for Truman Davis and expects to work for Oren Montgomery thru sugaring.

 

Quite a few around here have tapped their sugar bushes.

 

Glen Nonhof entertained about 15 of his school mates last Saturday in honor of his 7th birthday.

 

Abie Turner commenced work Wed. on the cheese factory, and boards at home.

 

Dan Hefty and Stillman Huntley left Monday morning for Green Co., where the former has employment.

 

The Mesdames Truman Davis, Nancy Johnson, A. Montgomery and Eva Canfield were among those who attended the quilting bee at John Breese’s Tuesday.

 

Fred Wonser spent Tuesday afternoon with his sister.

 

Lou Marsh was thru here Tuesday with an agent who was selling dress goods.
