School commenced last week with Miss Vera Pietenpol as teacher.
Rob Garbisch and family spent Sunday afternoon at Gluch’s.
Martha Kelpin is at Granton assisting Mrs. P. M. Ross with her household duties.
Miss Pietenpol is boarding at Ernest Ayers’.
Mrs. Ben Dudei was taken very ill with pneumonia last week, but is reported to be gaining.
Max Neverman of Neillsville the Watkins agent took dinner at F. D. Riedel’s Monday.
Adolph Schune bought a horse of Herman Scharf Monday.
Fred Kier made a business trip to Granton Tuesday morning.
Lydia Worchel came home from Milwaukee early this week on account of her mother’s illness.
Mrs. L. L. Ayers was at Neillsville between trains Tuesday.
Augusta and Anita Schoengarth and Dan Gluch and family were Granton callers Wednesday.
