Foemmel’s Corners (25 March 1910)
Mr. and Mrs. John Nonhof after spending a couple days with friends and relatives left for their home in North Dakota.
Effie Rowe and two lady friends from Neillsville spent Saturday with Mrs. A. W. Hales.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas Hayden moved onto the Geo. Campbell farm last week Wednesday.
Vera Huff came Friday night and stayed until Monday morning with Jennie Ackerman.
Truman Davis and family spent Sunday afternoon at Fred Cole’s.
John Pietenpol and family were Sunday guests at Henry Pietenpol’s.
Frank Tompkins, Miss Crego and Miss Knorr called on Lillie Ackerman the first of the week.
Mrs. Heyder was somewhat under the weather the first of the week.
Elsie Krause’s scholars gave her a postal shower at school Tuesday in honor of her birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. Heck and children came Tuesday for an indefinite stay with their sons, Ely and Louis.
Truman Davis entertained the wood sawyers with John Lastofka as leader.
Emma Krejci spent Sunday under the parental roof.
Al Nonhof and family did shopping In Neillsville Tuesday.
If I’m not mistaken our Editor left out a very important item to the little folks anyway. It should have read something like this: Helene Baer gave a very entertaining party to a number of her little friends on Saturday afternoon, March 12.
