Mr. Heck assisted John Lastofka last week hewing some timber for the latter’s barn.
Dan Timmerson has a horse sick with lung fever and W. H. Eden had the misfortune to lose one a few days ago.
Carl Radka had the misfortune last Friday to cut quite a gash in his head while chopping.
Mr. Southwick returned home Monday from North Dakota.
Wallace Young of Spokeville and Irving Young of Christie attended the funeral of their step father, Mr. Mabie, which took place here Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Grebe and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Greeler went to Christie last Saturday to attend the Equity convention.
Fred Heibel transacted business at Marshfield last Monday.
