Crume, Mrs. Will (1876 - 26 NOV 1948)
Burial rites for Mrs. Will Crume, who died in the hospital of the veterans’ home at King, last Friday night, were held at Viroqua Tuesday afternoon, and burial was in Liberty Pole Cemetery.
Mrs. Crume was in her 72nd years, and had been at the veterans’ home with her husband for the past few years. Mr. Crume is an invalid and is in a wheel chair. For a number of years they owned and operated the Buchholz farm in Houghtonburg (Jackson Co., Wis.), returning to their former home near Viroqua after leaving here.
Surviving are her husband, three sons, Howard, Viroqua, Harley in Texas and Herman, Dodgeville, 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. W.F. hein, Mrs. Cora Stanley and Mrs. Roy Jeffery attended the services for Mrs. Crume, who was their aunt, at Viroqua, Tuesday afternoon.
