Henry Williams went to Neillsville on Wed., to see his best girl.
Dr. Stillman spent a couple of days of this week at Bethel.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lindsey of Minneapolis after a two weeks’ visit at Fred Handt’s left for home on Monday.
"Rusty" Tompkins left for Fargo, N. Dak., last Sunday for a short visit to friends.
Mrs. Will Huff and children left on Wednesday, for their home in the Saskatchewan Dist. of Canada.
Miss Jennie Hart of Humbird was the guest of relatives here between trains, last Sat. afternoon.
Mrs. Frances Mac Bride spent several days of the week with friends at Neillsville.

The Grant German Lutheran School of Rev. Reiff’s parish will reopen next Monday.
Mrs. William Schlinsog went to Greenwood last Saturday to spend a few days and attend the celebration on Sunday of the third anniversary of her son William’s marriage.
Mrs. Mary Covey of Marshfield and her daughter Mrs. W. S. Tufts of Withee arrived here last Friday and remained until Tuesday noon, visiting at John Wright’s, Cash Ide’s and T. D. Wage’s.
Mrs. J. Reiff and son Edward went to Wausau Friday for a few days visit with relatives.
Bertha Goebel after a weeks visit at home returned to Milwaukee early Monday morning.
Mrs. Dave Garbush and daughter Clara returned home Saturday evening from their visit in Sheboygan County.

Rev. J. Reiff of this place, Rev. Lange of Loyal, and Rev. Kemena of Nasonville went to Clintonville Monday to attend conference and visit Rev. Leo Moench.
Mrs. Dave Brown, Mrs. G. J. Hart and Mrs. McConnaughey all of Neillsville, spent Thursday here at Mrs. Laura Brown’s.
Arthur Flynn of Neillsville has been spending the past two weeks with his friend Leland Page, helping him through seeding.
Mrs. Fred Riedel returned home on Monday from an over Sunday visit with her nephew, Albert Schwartz in Greenwood.

Albert Mabie purchased of Dr. Stillman early this week the building recently occupied by the Dr. as an office, and will move it onto a lot which he owns, between the R. C. Beecher and H. Downer homes where he will fit it up for a dwelling for his own occupancy.
Mrs. John Trimberger and son Hugo went to Greenwood and made an over Sunday visit at the Albert Schwartz’ whose infant daughter and only child, born after sixteen years of married life, was christened last Sunday. Mrs. Trimberger is a sister of Mrs. Schwartz’s.

Milton Gareth of Milo N. D. bought a 150 acre farm in the Town of Lynn of H. E. Williams and took possession of same last Sat.
We made a mistake in last week’s issue when we said that Mike Grasser’s team was tied to a post in front of Geo. Beaver’s saloon just before they made up their mind to run away. The horses were in the sheds. We are asked to make this correction because there are no posts in front of that place and then someone might think that Mike was acquiring bad habits in his old age. Those who know him know better.

George Huntley, who went to Fort Jackson, N. Y., several weeks since, in response to news of his brother Silas’ serious illness; arrived there too late to see his brother alive. He joined the funeral party at the cemetery before interment, though. George will visit his sister Mrs. McIntire, of that place and may stay several weeks longer.
