Hurrah for the Norwegian.

The town hall was full with a number of things; I am sure we all should be as happy as kings.

Mrs. W. W. Smith is not any better at this writing.

A big tall man sat on a chair; swinging his ticket as fast as he dare. Then he completed his work, and folded it right, and said: Dear ticket, good night, good night.

Otto Kempin was challenged on the Election Day in regard to his age.  He was taken to the door and after going through several acrobatic performances proved to be a man; was allowed to vote.

Among the silo builders are Wm. Zorn, Fred Garbisch, Frank Davis and W. W. Smith.

Sherman Davis has his dwelling completed and if you want to see a better arranged house for $2,500 you’ll have to go to Wall Street to find it.

August Dankemyer now is the proud possessor of a brand new Maxwell 30 horsepower automobile. Old August as he is called now, came to this country when 14 years of age.  He bought his farm where he now resides in 1878, but did not commence work on the same till 1882. At that time his farm contained 160 acres with no clearing and a little log cabin in which he and his family lived for many years.  He thought by starting in this way and kept going slowly he would soon have a nail of his own to hang his hat.  Now his home is well known for miles around, it consists of 240 acres of land with a fine brick dwelling.  He has held several responsible town offices and is well known in political as well as social matters.
