County Line (8 April 1910)

Edna Portner and Lizzie Muir were Marshfield visitors between trains last Tuesday.

Charley Behling is helping Mr. Retzlaff with his seeding.

The young folks club met at Louis Kleinschmidt’s Thursday evening.  Refreshments were served and all report a very pleasant time.

Emma Retzlaff spent Wednesday afternoon with Miss Clara Knoop.

Calvin Muir took a load of jolly young people to Louis Kleinschmidt’s Thursday evening.  Before going home all were treated with maple sugar and everyone had a good time.

The party at Kipp’s was well attended.

Louis Kleinschmidt has rented his farm t o Mr. Portz.

Will Duege and best girl from Neillsville were seen out our way Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Emil Lindow visited at A. Burdick’s Friday evening.

Calvin Muir called at L. Rustad’s Sunday.

Several friends took occasion to call at H. Retzlaff’s last Sunday to spend the evening.

The Robins and blue jays are here, so are the butterflies, and the fields look green.  One would think this to be the month of May instead the first of April.
