The town ticket was elected Tuesday with no exception. The town voted to furnish the village with three lights, a very generous donation. It must be remembered though, whatever the town does for its own citizen will be finally a benefit to themselves; for as they improve the village, it will improve the value of their land proportionately. Villages, cities and the country always ought to work together. In cooperation in the right way is mutual benefit in every way.
The recent rains interfere some with the finishing of seeding, but are of great advantage to the meadows and pastures, and retard the growth and development of the large bug family.
Another meeting of the business men association was held Tuesday night. Various matters of interest were discussed.
Tom Gibson moved into his new barber shop Monday. His shop will be in running order inside a few days.
A. W. Wendorf made a call up the line from Saturday till Monday morning and made a trip to Granton Wed. between trains.
Another real estate transaction is liable to happen in a few days, but it is too early yet to report same.
