Romadka (15 April 1910)
While Mr. and Mrs. Fred Garbisch and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Garbisch were enroute home from Chili last week Thursday they had a run-away between the cheese factory and Bill Smith’s. After the horses had upset the buggy they became loose and ran for home. Everyone was thrown out. They all escaped injury except Fred who had his elbow dislocated. No other damage was done.
Fred Scholtz left for Lidgerwood, N. D., a week ago last Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Jud Canfield visited at Mrs. Nancy Johnson’s Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Guk spent Sunday at Carl Retta’s.
Harley Owens of Pelsdorf was seen here last week.
Mr. and Mrs. John Robinson are enjoying a visit from their uncle who came up from the southern part of the state.
Carl Retta made a business trip to Loyal Monday.
Miss Lillian Yorkston came up from Lynn early this week for an extended stay with her friend Miss Frieda Garbisch.
Our regular milk wagon has been installed again with Fred Jacobi as driver.
Dave Konshak drove thru here Tuesday on his way to Curtiss.
Albert Strey came up here to look after things on his farm.
