Foemmel’s Corners (22 April 1910)
Mrs. Roy Lawrence and little daughter spent several days of last week with Mrs. Geo. Huntley.
Geo. Frei had a barn raising last week Friday. Some of the neighbors and Kemmeter’s mill crew assisted.
Harry Cattanah had a phone put in the latter part of last week.
Quite a number from here attended the home talent play at Granton Friday evening.
A snow storm visited us Saturday afternoon and nearly all Sunday forenoon. Some people had their garden stuff in.
Al Nonhof and wife drove to Marshfield Saturday.
Mrs. Ely Heck had a light attack of pneumonia last week, but is some better at present.
Mrs. Fisk Lee visited her niece Mrs. John Pietenpol several days this week.
Mr. and Mrs. Hayden called on Mrs. Breese Monday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. John Pietenpol were out Sunday enjoying the snow storm. They called at Wm. Happe’s and Frank Davis’.
Truman Davis drove over to Joe Brown’s after seed corn on Tuesday and brought home 6 shade trees.
