Clark, James C. (28 NOV 1920 - 10 AUG 2011)
James C. Clark,
90, of Owen, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at the Clark
County Health Care Center, Owen.
A memorial service will be held at
11 a.m. Monday Aug. 15, 2011, at St. Katherine's Episcopal Church
in Owen.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until
the time of service at the church in Owen. Burial will follow at
Riverside Cemetery.
James was born Nov. 28, 1920, to
Howard and Naomi (Bender) Clark in Bluffton, Indiana. He served his
country in the Army for three years then worked for the Wisconsin
Conservation Corps.
James and Armilla (Bangle) Winslow
were united in marriage on Nov. 10, 1951, at St. Katherine's
Episcopal Church of Owen. He worked for 40 years at Western
Condensing, now known as Kerry Ingredients in Owen.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and
fishing, traveling out West, and spending time with his
family.
He is lovingly survived by his wife
of 65 years, Armilla;his daughters, Sally Clark of Owen and Nancy
(Terry) Kuenne of Medford; and his son, Bill (special friend Linda
Arndt) Winslow of Withee.
He is further survived by seven
grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, six
step-great-grandchildren; four nieces and seven nephews; his
step-brothers, Eddie Schulze of Florida and Raymond Schulze of
Kenosha; sister-in-law, Ruth Schulze of Marshfield; and
step-nieces, Margie Kinser and Judy Dunow of Kenosha; step-nephew,
Larry Dunow; and brother-in-law, Eldon Dunow.
He was preceded in death by his
parents; step-father; step-mother; sister, Margaret Bangle;
step-sister, Lucille Dunow; step-brothers: Fred Schulze, Herb
Schulze and Chuck Schulze.
