Star Corner (6 May 1910)

 

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Deegan, April 28th. "Ten centers, George!"

 

Mrs. Chas Bass and Miss Gertie Beilke spent Sunday at Fremont.

 

Mrs. Robert Teatz went to Neillsville Tuesday to visit relatives.

 

Otto Yankee raised his barn on Thursday.

 

John Goebel sold a horse Thursday, to parties from Marshfield.

 

Theo. And Oscar Breseman and Chas. Bass completed the basement for Gottlieb Hillert’s new barn, Tuesday.  Mr. Hillert intends to build soon.

 

Mrs. Richard Kurth visited Mrs. Philip Breseman, Friday.

 

August Reimer had a bee Saturday to raise his windmill.

 

Several from this vicinity attended the auction near Granton last Wed.

 

Miss Alta Rand went to Neillsville Tuesday evening.

 

Chas. Wiesner was a Lynn visitor Tuesday.

 

August Reimer and John Goebel went to Marshfield last Friday to deliver the horse which Mr. Goebel sold.

 

Klao Krause has started working at the heading mill at Lynn.

 

Wm. Opelt of Lynn made a pleasant call in our burg, Tuesday afternoon.

 

A number of farmers from this neighborhood delivered calves to Granton Tuesday.

 

Mrs. August Teatz is spending a few days with her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Deegan.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Rose of Granton spent Sunday at Herman Krause’s.

 

Mr. and Mrs. August Reimer spent Sunday evening at Oscar Johnson’s.

 

Ernest Keuer is building an addition onto his house.  Chas. Bass is doing the mason work.
