Kidd, Norman Auction (6 May 1910)
Auction Sale - at Norman Kidd’s farm, better known as the Herman Berthold place 2 ½ miles south east of Granton, Sat., May 14th. The following property will be sold: 1 nice span young mares, 3 and 4 years old, well broke; 10 choice dairy cows; 1 fat hog and 5 spring pigs; 25 chickens, some full bloods; 1 new double harness; 1 single harness; 1 good McCormick binder; 1 new Deering mower; 1 Thomas Tedder; 1 horse rake; 1 large feed cutter; 1 new Laport fanning mill; 1 double wagon; 1 spring wagon; 1 pair tote sleighs; 1 turning plow; 1 cultivator; 1 potato hiller; 1 spring tooth drag; 1 spike tooth drag; shovels, chains, forks; 125 ft. hay rope and fork; 3 milk cans; 30 bushels of oats; 20 bushels of barley; 10 bushels of corn; 1 nice large cook range; all household goods and other articles too numerous to mention.
