George Ure is raising up Walter Grave’s barn on his Prospect Hill Stock Farm, preparatory for a basement.
The Modern Woodmen Lodge added two more members to its list last Sat. Fred Heibel and Edward Dennis are the new members.
The M. E. Sunday school is making preparations for Children’s Day which is to be observed the second Sunday in June.
One of Will Campbell’s horses ran a stick into the gambol joint while running in the pasture, inflicting a very bad wound. Its recovery is doubtful.
Frank Greeler has a colt that was quite badly cut on a wire fence.
Dewitt Curtiss is plastering Mrs. John Rausch’s new house in Granton.
