Mrs. H. M. Root is visiting friends at la Crosse since Wednesday.
The F. J. Baer house on Court Street is for rent.
County board is in session this week. Geo. Ure was elected chairman for the fourth time.
Mrs. Ruggles of Oshkosh born Eva Eunson is here at her father’s house very ill with inflammatory rheumatism.
Sheriff Robert Eunson came home from Valley City, N. D. on Tuesday.
H. M. Root went to Whitehall last Saturday and made an over Sunday visit to Rev. T. G. Owen at Attorney E. F. Hensel’s home.
Miss Virginia Listeman is here visiting her brother Kurt.
Mrs. Leon Landgraf died Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Schuster, Carl Stange, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Campman, Mrs. Wm Huntley and Mrs. Ed Hoey were among those from here who went to Barron to attend the funeral of the late Mrs. Chas Taylor (nee Grace Grow) last Wednesday.
