College Notes (10 August 2011)

 

Amy L. Junk of Owen was named to the Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon, spring dean’s list for the 2010-2011 year.  She is a freshman majoring in athletic training. To be eligible for the honor, students must achieve a minimum 3.50 grade-point average (GPA).

 

Spc. John Kopp, of Neillsville, was named to the dean’s list of Ashford University, Clinton, IA, for the spring 2011 semester.  Spc. Kopp is currently stationed at ISA Air Base, Bahrain, as a Patriot Missile System Enhanced Operator Maintainer.  He is studying for a bachelor of arts in history.

 

The following area students were named to the Western Technical College President’s list of High Distinction for the spring semester 2011.  They achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher and carried 12 or more credits.

 

Neillsville - Cassandra Harder, physical therapist assistant program.

 

Willard - Jackie Herrick, surgical technologist program.
