Schilling, Hazel R. (July 14, 1937 - July 27, 2011)
Hazel R. Schilling, 74, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at her residence in the town of Mayville under the care of Hope Hospice.
She was born July 14, 1937, in the town of Frankfort. Hazel attended St. Michael’s grade school, Wausau and was a 1956 graduate of Wausau Newman Catholic High School.
After her education, Hazel was employed at Wausau Papers in Brokaw for ten years.
She was married and divorced in 1972.
Hazel owned and operated a tavern in the town of Mayville until retirement. She enjoyed snow skiing, fishing and gardening.
She is survived by sisters Mae Zastrow, Wausau, Beverly Biard, Mosinee, Geraldine (Tom) Weisenberger, Merrill and Carol (Maurice) Normand, Marathon; and brothers, Chester (Paulette) Schilling, Hayward, and Robert Schilling, Reno, NV.
Hazel was preceded in death by siblings, Jane Rodemeier, Rita Weaver, Opal, Ruth Ann, Lanora, Stan and Terry Schilling; her father, Andrew G. Schilling and her mother, Frances M. Gribowski.
