Withee Services Held for Evald Ammentorp

Withee - Services were held Thursday at Nazareth Lutheran Church here with Rev. Beryl Knudsen officiating, for Evald Ammentorp, 68, Rt. 1, Withee, who died Monday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Ammentorp was born in North Dakota and resided most of his life on his farm in the Town of Longwood, south of Withee. He married Caroline Damgaard May 14, 1920. A veteran of World War I, he was active in the Danish Brotherhood of Nazareth Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife; four sons, Roy, Milwaukee, Raymond, Medford, James, Eau Claire, and Marvin, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Roger Wolfram, Eau Claire, Mrs. Henry Hass, Thorp, and Mrs. Henry Mauel, Owen; a sister, Magha, of North Dakota; a brother, Thorwald, Owen; and 23 grandchildren.
