One and ½ miles north of Reed’s Schoolhouse, Town of Grant, on the John Scharf farm, Wednesday, Oct. 18. Sale commences at 9:30 a.m. There will be sold: 1 pair of horses, 9 and 13 years old; 6 good cows, 4 to 6 years old; 3 spring calves, 2 two-year old heifers, 1 yearling heifer, 1 binder, 1 mower, 1 horse rake, 1 horse cultivator, 1 seeder, 1 fanning mill, 1 set of work harness, 1 plow, one smoothing harrow, 1 spring tooth drag, 1 iron kettle, two milk cans, 1 crosscut saw, shovels, hoes, cant hooks, chains and other tools, 20 chickens, 30 tons of hay, straw stack, two acres of corn, 1 cook stove, sewing machine, hay rack, 2,000 feet lumber.
