Mamie Donahue was excused from school last Friday because of a sick headache.
Mr. A.J. Knorr brought Lynn up to school in his auto Monday morning.
Mabel Lokken has returned to school after a week’s absence in visiting relatives.
Maria Davis was absent from school Friday because of sickness.
Every day at noon now, the little oil stove in the recitation room is fired up, the faculty assemble there, make hot coffee and eat a good warm dinner, while "we kids" sit in our straight backed seats and partake of a cold lunch. But wait, someday we may grace the faculty’s chair and then-well-although these same people are quite "kiddish" at time, don’t suppose we will ever have the opportunity to turn the tables on them, but here is some consolation in thinking we may get square with the world in some way, some time.
