Miss Martha Sternitzky is visiting friends in Almond this week.

A large number from here attended the funeral of Warren Konshak Tuesday at the Maple Works Lutheran Church.

Rev. A. A. Sifert delivered his first sermon in this place at the town hall last Sunday afternoon.  He will be here every Sunday at three o’clock and will also take part in the Sunday school.

Miss Elsie Brooks drove to Marshfield Saturday.  Her brother Raymond, and Jay Maston accompanied her home to spend Sunday.

P. Gaden, wife and daughter Clara returned from their trip to the La Crosse Fair and pronounce the fair just fine.

Mrs. R.T. Washburn and Mrs. S.G. Hornbeck of Granton drove to Neillsville Wed.

Mamie Scholtz of Nevins took her departure for Rockford, Ill., where she has found employment.

E.F. Brooks and wife, son Clark and Albert Sholtz drove out to the Ridge and spent Sunday with Mrs. Brooks’ father.

Ross Paulson of Granton made his usual business call in Lynn with a large load of butter to be shipped to eastern points.

Mrs. Sparks and daughter Bessie were calling on Mrs. St. Germain last week.

Max Opelt and T.F. Feldmaier, our general merchants, both have a new apparatus for keeping peanuts warm, so if you are looking for fresh warm peanuts, just call on the Lynn merchants.

Geo. R. Brooks transacted business at Fond du Lac last week.  He will leave this week for Dakota where he will investigate the land business.

O.W. Becker has built a new wagon shed.

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Gaden and daughter Clara were Neillsville callers this week.

Henry Williams has been repairing his house by re-shingling it.

Mrs. John Altenburg visited with her parents at Lindsey the latter part of last week.

C.W. Chuff has returned from his trip to Chicago and Milwaukee.

Dr. C.L. Schulz left last week for Iron River, Wis., on a hunting trip.

Henry and Walter Sternitzky were Neillsville callers yesterday.

Albert Scholtz left Wednesday for Wausau where he will take and examination in telegraphy.
