Mrs. Sontag, the beloved wife of Geo. L. Sontag passed into that peaceful rest from which there is no earthly awakening, at three o’clock Wednesday afternoon. She was born Lottie Dyer and came to Neillsville eleven years ago where for a number of years she was employed as a teacher in our public schools. Nine years ago she was united in marriage to George Sontag who with their little four year old daughter is left mourning her early demise. Deceased was beloved and held in the highest esteem by all who knew her. The cause of her death was tuberculosis, from which disease she suffered patiently for a number of years. She was 38 years old.
