A large number of farmers are cutting their oats for hay.

Morris Turner transacted business at Neillsville Monday.

The electric storm Saturday evening killed 2 of Martin O’Brien’s best milch cows.

Jay Davis and Vernon Rowe called on lady friends Sunday evening.

Alvin Vandeberg who has employment with Sears Roebuck Co. of Chicago is visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. John Vandeberg this week.

Several carload of cattle were shipped from this vicinity again this week.

Mr. and Mrs. Art Johnston visited at Neillsville Tuesday.

Lightning struck the house of Will Rogers Saturday evening and did some small damage, but the family escaped without injury.

John Davis and Julius Voigt were callers at Loyal Monday.

Allie Turner is busy moving his house this week.

Fay Thompson sold his young stock and drove them to Loyal Monday.

Sid Free and Geo. Dahl attended the meeting at the Free Methodist Church Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rowe were Loyal callers Monday.

Matt Rondorf was a business caller at Neillsville Saturday.

Ted O’Brien spent Sunday at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. M. O’Brien.

A large crowd from here attended the ice cream sociable at Will Davis’ one evening last week.

Horace Vandeberg is spending a few days this week with a lady friend at Eau Claire.
