Shortville (29 July 1910)
Louis Furguson who has been very ill with typhoid fever for several weeks, died last Tuesday night at the age of 20 years.
The heavy rain Saturday night was greatly welcomed by the farmers in this part of the country as it put a complete stop to the swamp fires which became very threatening.
