Rev. E.A. Wolfe , who has been pastor of the Free Methodist Church, preached his farewell sermon last Friday night. He has an appointment near Rhinelander for the ensuing year.
Rev. J.T. Bryan, who has the M.E. appointment for this coming years seems to fill the pulpit very creditably.
W.W. Campbell has taken charge of H.L. Snyder’s farm. So it is reported to us.
Peter Moser is reported quite ill.
Mrs. Perry Palmer and children are down from Hemlock visiting with old friends and relatives.
Ed Rowe accompanied, by his wife and sons Ralph and Clement, were up from Neillsville last Sunday.
Burt Dean is here from Oregon. He informed us that he was glad to get back to Wisconsin again, and intends to remain her this winter.
Ernst Grabe is digging a cellar under his house and will also put a stone wall under it.
Mr. A. Benedict and Mrs. I. Fulwiler are on the sick list.
A.P. Fulwiler and daughter Violet were Granton callers last Friday.
Geo. Mortimer went to Greenwood Friday to take in the carnival.
E.G. Rowe, who has had an attack of appendicitis, is improving.
Walter Rowe’s children have been quite sick with bowel trouble.
Oscar Fricke and a gentleman from Sheboygan were business callers last Saturday.
