Miss Bertie Neff of Neillsville now has charge of the intermediate department in place of Miss Elva Gates, who has resigned her position.
Mr. Adolphus Drake visited school Monday afternoon.
The eleventh grade, Lynn Knorr and Ben Beeckler, were absent several days last week.
Bessie Wright was absent Tuesday.
Ethel Osgood has been absent for two weeks past because of an injured foot.
Mr. Drescher is reading a very interesting book entitled "The Hoosier School Master."
George Beeckler visited school Tuesday.
Raymond Hornbeck visited school Monday afternoon.
Some of the pupils are planning a picnic dinner today, Friday.
The faculty, surmising that the "kids" might get even with them in some way, have offered the use of their "cooking" stove to them, and they are soon to begin brewing their own coffee for dinner. It is not state, however, whether or not they are to sit at the dining table or still keep their high backed chairs.
