Pallbearers at the funeral of Carl F. Gundlach, 79, who died in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, October 12, were John Bannach, Lawrence Cowles, Albert Davel, John Elsinger, William Thelsen, and Bert Brown.
The Rev. Norbert King was officiating pastor at the services which were held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church Monday morning, October 15.
Mr. Gundlach was born in Germany, April 12, 1877 and came to this country with his parents when six years of age. He lived in Madison and later in Milwaukee where he was married to Lucia Grams, November 1, 1904. They lived in Milwaukee for 30 years, then moved to Oconomowoc. In 1951 they moved to the Loyal vicinity and a few months ago moved into the city.
Survivors include his wife, one son, Carl, Loyal; two grandchildren, one brother, Louis, Madison; three sisters, Helen and Tillie Gundlach, Madison, and Mrs. Martha Hay, Milwaukee.
