Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph Andraska, 75, were held in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church at 9:30 Wednesday morning with the Rev. Norbert King officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Andraska suffered a sudden heart attack while visiting her daughters in Wausau and was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital. She died Saturday evening November 3.
Caroline Christman was born in Hartford, September 16, 1881. When 10 years of age, she came with her parents to Loyal. She received her education here and was graduated from the Loyal High School in 1899. She was married to Joseph Andraska in Loyal, July 23, 1909. Mr. Andraska died August 18, 1933. Two children and two brothers, and one sister also preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Bernard of Park Falls, Harold of Wisconsin Rapids and Richard of Loyal; by two daughters, Mrs. Ben (Agnes) Sayles, and Mrs. Don (Mary) Rudell, both of Wausau; 19 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tony Christman, Loyal, and Peter Christman, Spencer; and three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Kilbourn, Loyal, Mrs. Kate Emerson, Wisconsin Rapids, and Mrs. Stanley (Anna) Scott, Portland, Oregon.
Mrs. Andraska was a member of St. Mary’s Altar Society and Hope Camp No. 819, Royal Neighbors of America.
