Foemmel’s Corners (12 August 1910)
Mrs. Laura Heck did some sewing for Mrs. Barbara Cattanah.
Mr. and Mrs. John Breese came Saturday evening and stayed over Sunday with their daughter.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas Hayden spent Friday evening at Truman Davis’.
Myron Osgood finished work for Truman Dais Saturday. Monday he put up a silo for Fred Davis and Tuesday went to work on J. B. Daughhetee’s silo.
Last Saturday E. R. Wonser and family, Mrs. Nonhof and son Glen autoed to Unity for an over Sunday with their sister Mrs. Oldenburg.
Alex Cattanah drove out Tuesday after his daughter in law Mrs. Harry Cattanah who intends to remain there until a week from Thursday.
Theron Daughhetee had the misfortune to fall from the barn floor onto the cement floor below, breaking his shoulder blade and cracking a bone in the back of his head.
Wayne Potter spent Sunday at Frank Krejci’s.
Mary and Stella Krejci were Sunday guests at the G. Krause home.
Miss Clara Krause left Wednesday for Illinois where she has a school.
Mrs. Roy Lawrence spent a couple of days the first of the week with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Geo Huntley.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas Martin have sold their home to a party unknown to the writer.
Will Vandeberg came this week and put up Al Nonhof’s silo.
Miss Jean Davis is visiting friends in Green Bay.
