Humphrey, Jordan D. (11 April 1981 –7 August 2011) With flag

Jordan D. Humphrey, 30, died Sunday Aug. 7, 2011, at Valley Medical Center in Las Vegas.  The cause of death was a colloid cyst located in Jordan’s brain.

Jordan was born April 11, 1981, in Rapid City, SD, to Jerry and Kris (Elmhorst) Humphrey.  He was raised in Black River Falls and graduated in 1999.  Following his high school graduation, he studied at UW-Stout and was employed in North Branch, MN, and Eau Claire, before enlisting in the Air Force and being stationed at Nellis AFB, NV.  He married Beth L. Ware July 22, 2011, in Las Vegas, NV.

Jordan had just completed a four-year enlistment in the U. S. Air Force and was in the process of moving to McMinnville, OR, to start a program in paralegal studies this fall.

Jordan enjoyed drawing, bicycling, reading and he was a fanatical Packer fan.

Jordan is survived by his wife, Beth, North Las Vegas, NV; and his parents, Jerry and Kris from Hixton.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, at Family Worship Assembly Church in Black River Falls.
