Beyer, Bertha #3 (18 OCT 1905)
Miss Bertha Beyer was married to Theodore Linster at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Beyer, at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 1905. The bride’s dress was of brown silk trimmed with white. She wore a veil and carried a shower bouquet of pink and white carnations. She was attended by Miss Alma Beyer and Miss Susan Linster, who were gowned in white. Mr. Linster was attended by Nicholas Linster, a brother, and Helmuth Beyer, a brother of the bride. The wedding ceremony was preceded by a solo, the bridal party then entered the parlors to the strains of Mendelssohn’s wedding march, rendered with excellent expression by Miss Haas. The Rev. Haas performed the ceremony. There were about one hundred relatives and friends in attendance to witness the ceremony, after which a sumptuous wedding dinner was served. There was a fine array of costly, useful and beautiful presents. The young couple will begin housekeeping at once. The groom is a young man of industry, energy and of high character. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Beyer of Pine Valley, and is a young lady of a cheerful disposition, very ambitious and of universal popularity. Both have a host of friends and the News joins in wishing them a prosperous and happy life.
